I am one of the Artistic Directors of Torn Out Theater, a small nonprofit theater company that aims to do absolutely nothing the traditional way.
In May of 2016, I co-directed an all-female, mostly-nude production of The Tempest with my good friend Pitr Strait. The production celebrated body positivity and explored the use of nudity as a non-sexual storytelling mechanic. It was covered in the Guardian, Salon, NBC News, the Huffington Post, Jezebel, the Atlantic, and many more. The two performances were attended by over 400 people, and the production was later restaged in Prospect Park.
If you want to get me talking, try asking about Thomas Ligotti or the Enneagram.
